Description
Trumpet-mouth lekythos with in main white slipped zone opposite handle, badly drawn in dilute glaze, woman in chiton and himation standing before tomb with: 2 stripes below and above 2 stripes and narrow band with irregular diagonal stripes from one side of vase to other above figure d zone. Lower body, top of base solidly coated, single stripe around top of lower torus of profiled base. Shoulder decorated with radiating stripes below short band of stripes at base of neck; interior and exterior of mouth and exterior of handle solidly coated.
State of Preservation
Most of paint on body below figured scene worn off, scattered wear of paint and some slight chipping. Mended at juncture of lip and neck.
