Description
Mouldmade figure of goddess standing w weight on l leg, r leg bent w bent r arm leaning on ?pillar; l arm bent at elbow & hand resting on hip. Wearing peplos w overfold almost to knees belted under short kolpos; aegis represented by oval ridges around breasts w Medusa-head in center; articulation of Gorgon hairline and eyes. Folds of ?himation coming from rear over r arm and falling along r leg; vertical folds of peplos clearly articulated. R hand flat on belly w fingers articulated; l left hand holds unidentified object against hip. Large vent-hole in plain back.
State of Preservation
Head broken off at shoulders; lower body broken off at ca knees in front and slightly higher on r side & back. Some surface pitting & cracks.
