Description
R hand w index finger through handle of pitcher, thumb on top, two middle fingers bent toward palm, elongated little finger extended against base of pitcher; finger nails and pad of palm articulated. Pitcher w low convex sides tapering in slightly to thickened discoid rim on pedestal base; handle attached to rim by squared off flange beneath which handle proper has squarish aperture; opposite handle traces of spout. Directly beneath spout on underside of pitcher above base hole, probably for attachment to other piece or object. Traces of reddish paint all over.
State of Preservation
Hand broken at wrist, most of rim & spout of pitcher broken off. Edges of base of pitcher broken off.
