Description
Profiled oval base with broad central scotia with squared off edge on either side, flanked by torus. On base two bare feet with traces of garment just above ankles; next to right foot thick gnarled staff with coil of snake which continues behind figure as undulating tail tapering to pointed tip; near left foot cupping vessel. On feet toenails and joints articulated; horizontal fold articulated on drapery above right ankle. On underside of base broad roughly smoothed band around edge with center slightly recessed and rough pecked.
State of Preservation
Body broken off at ankles in diagonal which leaves slightly higher portion of staff and most of cupping vessel except for tip; large fragment missing from base under cupping vessel; smaller fragments from base at both ends of back; edges of base top and bottom badly chipped. All of surface discolored with some brownish incrustation.
