Description
Thick irregular right-angled triangular fragment with relief head of mature bearded male facing l wearing fillet with uraeus above forehead; hair arranged in waves from center part to rear chignon below which hangs thick tendril of wavy hair; features of face richly modeled with deep set eye under overhanging brow; some articulation of strands of hair and beard. In front of head, probably held in hand of figure, papyrus bloom on long curving stem. Background and uraeus painted blue; hair and beard of man yellow with yellow continuing up around lower 2/3 of ureaus.
State of Preservation
All edges broken, head cut off diagonally from nose to end of hair below chignon. Blue paint almost all worn off.
