Description
Mold-made figure of standing pig wearing long-sleeved tunic with overfold below waist level & soft-peaked Trojan cap and holding spear in right hand and shield in left, both held close to body; on head, turned to left, eyes, vertical wrinkles on “forehead” and horizontal wrinkles on snout articulated. On shield, central boss from which extend 8 rays, alternating larger on major axes & smaller between, indentation marking shield rim. Vent hole at back. Whole covered with white slip; body of shield, spear, and cap yellowish brown, nostrils and lips red.
State of Preservation
Broken off diagonally from overfold at right to lower portion of tunic at left. Tip of spear broken off, large chip from back of shield. Painted surfaces considerably worn.
