Description
Convex-sided reservoir on very low raised base, flat w relief Greek cross in center; concave discus divided into 3 parts: narrow flat rim divided by incised line from narrow insloping surface; broad band w relief strigillate decoration, central section defined by three concentric raised lines around plain central surface w fill hole. Vertical loop handle w crescentic sheath which decorated w raised lines following exterior contours. Long nozzle decorated on either side by opposing volutes; air hole at juncture of discus & nozzle. Coated all over w orangish-red slip.
State of Preservation
Handle repaired with plaster now pink. One tip of sheath broken off & rejoined. Paint worn, esp on nozzle. Some incrustation on underside.
