Description
Capital of small proportions which, from nature of break, not on top of column, but rather some openwork, ?floral element. On corner fragment w one volute of capital pres which decorated w incised long, horizontal leaflike elements & “tied” w rope in center; front & back surfaces of capital between volutes plain. Between capital & abacus slanting surface carved w leaf & dart defined above by plain, narrow moulding.
State of Preservation
One volute and most of bolster preserved, other volute missing. Worn & chipped.
