Description
Slipper lamp w upturned solid rectangular lug handle, edges of which defined by relief band within which relief X below, relief ?rosette above. Carinated reservoir w flattened carination, large fill hole surrounded by two relief bands; on upper surface decoration of open V's pointing toward carination within and between which relief dots; relief Greek cross on nozzle. Ca flat base depressed within poorly articulated raised band; possible mark at edge of band two indistinct depressions. Top surface coated w red paint, some of which dripped to underside; blackened nozzle.
State of Preservation
Intact, though most of paint worn off; some incrustation on surface of handle.
